A device used to filter out the AM Broadcast bands allowing improved reception ahead of the KiwiSDR.


Minimising AM Broadcast Band RF overload...

This simple exercise was designed to reduce the AM broadcast band reception but allow other frequencies to pass through to the KiwiSDR front end. Utilising a band stop filter design, the rf from the high power AM transmitters could be greatly reduced which also helps reduce intermods at the KiwiSDR front end.
